European Parliament approved a resolution on sign languages and professional sign language interpreters

Dear Ms Steven Helga, MEP
Please allow me to introduce myself and on behalf of the Czech organisation Deaf Hope express my joy of your successfully supporting sign language interpreters at the official level.
In my opinion the development of interpreting as part of social services in the Czech Republic is disappointing, the public administration has limited financial resources for provision of such services and is not able to provide quality social services for the deaf. There is a number of NGOs whose services for the deaf are similar, but not the same. I would like to see them unified under a single platform, e.g. the new Association of Services of Sign Language Interpreters.
I am trying to understand whether European Council and Commission will disseminate the Resolution in European states including the Czech Republic and encourage our public administration to implement the recommendations. We need to hold rational discussions at a round table with all NGOs in the country and I hope to convey to them how proud I am of the EU Resolution on sign language interpreters.
I greatly admire that you became the second deaf Member of European Parliament in history and your wise policy addressing the needs of the deaf in Europe, which I consider very important actions in the 21st century. Please allow me once again to congratulate you on your successful work and your goodwill to justice.
